Some number of years ago, I realized I'd become the most negative person I knew. I'd gotten so far away from the person I wanted to be, it felt like wearing the wrong skin. I couldn't stand being that negative, whiney, unhappy person anymore, so I decided I was going to become a positive person. I didn't know how I was going to do it, but I made a no-turning-back decision to kill off Negative Past Mel and become Alive, Joyful, Positive Future Mel.
Books are where I found my HOW. How to become more positive. How to take better care of myself. How to be happier.
Over the years, I’ve read a number of fantastic books and I thought I’d share a few of my favorites with you:

Books have saved me time and again. That’s why I published my own book. I’m hoping Becoming Future You will help those who find themselves stuck. Those who aren't sure what they want or what they deserve. Those who question whether or not there's anything special about them. Those who feel like they're running out of time and are wondering what happened to their potential.
I had all of those thoughts, fears, and worries.
But if I can create my version of a meaningful life, you can too. It doesn't happen on accident. It takes purposeful effort, but the good news is it's actually less work than you're doing now. You don't have to work harder to become Future You, you just need to be more intentional about it.
